One Piece Card Game: Set Guide

The One Piece Card Game launched in 2022 and has grown into one of the fastest-rising TCGs on the market, built around Eiichiro Oda's world and cast. If you're getting into it, here's how the sets are structured.

Reading a set code

Every card has a code in the bottom corner like OP01-025 or ST13-004 — the letters tell you the set family, and the number is the card's position within it:

• OP##: the main numbered Booster Packs — the primary sets, released roughly every few months, starting with OP01 (Romance Dawn).
• ST##: Starter Decks — pre-built 51-card decks around a theme or character, a common entry point for new players.
• EB##: Extra Boosters — smaller supplemental sets, often themed around a specific arc or crew.
• PR / promo codes: promotional cards from events, prizes, or special products, not part of the main numbered line.

Rarities

One Piece Card Game rarities run Common (C), Uncommon (UC), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), Secret Rare (SEC), and Leader (L) for the deck-defining Leader cards unique to each color combination. Alternate-art and manga-style parallel versions of popular cards are common chase pulls within a set, priced well above the standard print.

Colors and deck-building

Cards belong to one or more of six colors (Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Black, Yellow), and every deck is built around a single Leader card, which fixes which one or two colors you can use. This makes color a quick way to browse for cards that fit a deck you're already building.
